"[LoPresti] has a rock-and-roll heart -- and a PhD mind."
- Dirk Sutro / Host, The Lounge KPBS 89.5 FM San Diego
"LoPresti has a take-no-prisoners vocal style that makes her a gawk-worthy presence." - San Diego CityBeat Magazine

Her powerful live performances are not the only reason she's earned a growing buzz in Southern California; Danielle is also founder and producer of the revolutionary and history-making, San Diego IndieFest - the nation's first and only exclusively independent music and arts festival.

You can't help being pulled in by this dynamic musician who's used her vast artistic arsenal to assault our biggest issues: identity, autonomy, domestic abuse, homophobia, sexism, racism, political corruption...

A veteran of the Southern California music scene, Danielle LoPresti has shared the stage with artists such as Jamie Foxx, Metric, Semi Precious Weapons, Beth Hart, David Byrne, Far, Veruca Salt, Cyndi Lauper, Juliette Lewis, Jonatha Brooke, En Vogue, plus many more.

House of D is the sixth studio album release from Danielle LoPresti. Aptly titled, the nine song collection is Danielle's first in the genres of Deep House, Chillout and Industrial Electronica (a la Massive Attack, Zero 7, Portishead, etc.). While certainly a more laid back style for the typically intense activist rocker, House of D, still vibrates with LoPresti's fiery passion for social justice, peace and gratitude, as is shown on tracks like the moving ode to adoption, Testify (It's Love), the inspired revelation of Holy, the unleashed rage of B.S. and the celebration of life's "disappointments" that is Live The Dream.

In 2001 Danielle LoPresti founded Say It Records, an independent activist record and production company, out of a 7 year journey making her living writing and recording for The Nutty Professor, Sony Jazz, VH1, Lifetime, Clear Channel, and a long list of Independent Film, TV and Recording projects in the mainstream music industry in Los Angeles. Say It Records has provided a platform from which Danielle has been able to defy the myth that popular music must avoid or "water down" socially conscious themes in order to be entertaining.
