"LoPresti has a take-no-prisoners vocal style that makes her a gawk-worthy presence."

Danielle LoPresti to return to the stage with The Masses at San Diego IndieFest 8 this August, after victorious six month-long cancer fight.
July 2, 2013
Exactly six months ago today, Danielle was diagnosed with a rare form of Stage III Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma that had metastasized to seven places across her body. Today she stands triumphant in complete remission. While the battle will still be ongoing for the next several years in order to keep the beast away for good, and while she is still working hard to gain her strength back, Danielle wants to sing at IndieFest 8.

It was a twelve centimeter tumor lodged in the center of her chest, that quite literally halted voice production of the "Say It Girl." Now she's working each day to make it through just one more phrase, one more song, determined to liberate the voice that's been held hostage these last six months. With portacath still in chest and an inch of hair on her head, Danielle will take the stage to open for CAKE at San Diego IndieFest 8.

We don't know what this DLPM set is going to sound like, nor look like. But we do know it's going to be an epic and magical moment you won't want to miss. San Diego IndieFest 8 is projecting to sell out this year. To make sure you're there to support Danielle at her comeback performance, purchase your tickets now.
